Samsung SGH-L760 Unbrick – Boot Repair Supported

Repairing bricked Samsung L760 is easy with the RIFF Box.

To resurrect Samsung L760:

•  Solder JTAG cable to Samsung L760 JTAG pads;
•  Connect USB cable or instert batteryu;
•  Make sure Samsung L760 is selected in the list of models;
•  Click Resurrect button;
•  Wait till software signals a successful operation completion;
•  Disconnect power supply, de-solder JTAG wires;

Now phone is in bootable condition, that is, even if it does not start up normally, you can flash it using known flashing methods.

To enter download mode:

•  Disconnect PC cable;
•  Insert battery;
•  Hold ‘9’ key and press ‘Power ON’ button.

Samsung SCH-E329I Unbrick – Dead Boot Repair Supported

Repairing bricked Samsung E329I is easy with the RIFF Box. Please note, by default, NRST pad is disabled in this phone. In case you have any troubles with resurrection, shortcut pads A and B shown in shematics in order to enable NRST.
Current resurrector contains Firmware and EEPROM zones for memory chip with ID 0x00EC/0×3013

To resurrect Samsung E329I:

•  Solder JTAG cable to Samsung E329I JTAG pads;
•  Insert USB Data cable into board and PC;
•  Make sure Samsung E329I is selected in the list of models;
•  Click Resurrect button;
•  Choose which areas to flash;
•  Wait till software signals a successful operation completion;
•  De-solder JTAG wires;

CoolPad 5860 + Unbrick – Dead Boot Repair Supported

Repairing bricked CoolPad 5860+ is easy with the RIFF Box.

Note, one simple way to connect over JTAG – connect USB cable to PC and insert battery. In this case phone is automatically powered on, so no need to press any power-on buttons on the phone keypad.

To resurrect CoolPad 5860+:

•  Solder JTAG cable to CoolPad 5860+ JTAG pads;
•  Insert USB Data cable into board and PC;
•  Make sure CoolPad 5860+ is selected in the list of models;
•  Click Resurrect button;
•  Wait till software signals a successful operation completion;
•  Disconnect power supply, de-solder JTAG wires;

Samsung Galaxy K SHW-M130K Unbrick – Dead Boot Repair Supported

Repairing bricked Samsung M130K is easy with the RIFF Box. Samsung M130K is based on the S5PCxxx Processor (ARM core is Cortex-A8).
Note, one simple way to connect over JTAG – connect USB cable to PC and insert battery. In this case phone is automatically powered on. But note, in very rare cases it is possible that you will have to hold Power On key during initial connection.
In case after resurrection (after you have tried with both boot versions) the download mode is not initiated (LCD remains blank) do repeat resurrection with ‘Clone Gremlin zone’ option checked.

To resurrect Samsung M130K:

•  Solder JTAG cable to Samsung M130K JTAG pads;
•  Connect microUSB cable to phone and PC;
•  Insert battery;
•  Make sure Samsung M130K is selected in the list of models;
•  Make sure a fixed TCK frequency is selected;
•  Click Resurrect button;
•  Wait till software signals a successful operation completion;
•  Disconnect USB cable, de-solder JTAG wires;

Now phone is in bootable condition, that is, even if it does not start up normally, you can flash it using original Samsung downloader software to restore it to the working state.

To enter download mode:

•  Disconnect PC cable;
•  Insert battery;
•  Hold both ‘Volume Down’ and ‘Home’ keys and press Power-On.

Repairing bricked Samsung S5830G is easy with the RIFF Box. You need to hold Power On button during JTAG connection establishing phase.

To resurrect Samsung S5830G do this:

•  Solder JTAG cable to Samsung S5830G JTAG pads;
•  Insert battery and connect USB cable to phone and PC;
•  Make sure Samsung S5830G is selected in the list of models;
•  Click Resurrect button;
•  Press Power On button shortly if it stops on establish conneciton stage;
•  Wait few seconds until software signals a successful operation completion;
•  Disconnect USB cable, de-solder JTAG wires;

Now phone is in bootable condition, that is, even if it does not start up normally, you can flash it using original Samsung downloader software to restore it to the working state.

To enter download mode:

•  Disconnect PC cable;
•  Insert battery;
•  Hold both ‘Volume Down’ and ‘Home’ keys and press Power-On to enter Download Mode;

Repairing bricked HTC ChaCha is easy with the RIFF Box. 

Phone is auto powered on with USB Data Cable connected to the PC. Battery presence may be required.
In case you have no USB cable near, make sure battery is charged enough and hold Power On button during initiation of JTAG connection.
Resurrector will reflash radio’s boot zone and will re-write PDA’s SPL to 1.04.0000 version. Additionally to SPL and Radio zones, the zone which contains Model ID is re-flashed too. Thus after resurrection phone will have Model ID = ‘PH06*****’.

To resurrect HTC ChaCha:

•  Solder JTAG cable to HTC ChaCha JTAG pads;
•  Insert USB Data cable into board and PC;
•  Make sure HTC ChaCha is selected in the list of models;
•  If you use battery, press Power On key;
•  Click Resurrect button;
•  Wait till software signals a successful operation completion;
•  Disconnect power supply, de-solder JTAG wires;

Now phone is in bootable condition, that is, even if it does not start up normally, you can flash it using known flashing methods.

•  Disconnect PC cable;
•  Insert battery;

To power the phone connect USB cable and insert battery. Sometimes it’s needed to press Power On key.
In case phone is not detected de-power phone completely, then wait few seconds, insert USB cable and then insert battery.

•  Connect USB cable to phone and PC;
•  Insert battery;
•  Make sure Samsung B5510 is selected in the list of models;

•  If nothing happens, try an alternative: hold both ‘Volume Up’ and ‘Menu’ keys and press Power-On.
